As a designer, I am drawn towards the use of Experience Design to help create a holistic view and find solutions through a systematic approach, to achieve societal change in the Transformation Economy. More specifically, I am interested in using a playful experiences as a tool to positively impact behavioral change. Playing is an experience that is intuitive to most individuals, this makes playing a medium that is tangible for people to understand and interact with, making it valuable for the use of behavioral and societal change.
In my design process, key stakeholders and experts are identified, and target audience research is conducted to understand their needs. Literature research is also performed to position the research effectively. Ideation is personal and intuitive, integrating empathy and creativity. Ideas are iteratively refined through prototyping and evaluations, using different methodologies.
This approach has been applied to various challenges, such as urban farming, toys for refugee children, repurposing materials, and interactive sandboxes.
Motivated by meaningful impact and collaboration, I value learning from others and draw inspiration from people’s stories
